Rav747 0 Posted September 24, 2011 I love this watch. And love the video as usual, Kenny. Side question: I have seen a few reps of this model that has omega written on the movement. How come this version is missing that? Is that an older and less accurate version?
powderfreak 0 Posted September 24, 2011 I love this watch. And love the video as usual, Kenny. Side question: I have seen a few reps of this model that has omega written on the movement. How come this version is missing that? Is that an older and less accurate version? Well, I got a (reduced) Speedy rep that is also missing the omega text. Seems as if all new Speedys are less accurate....
KeNnY 29 Posted September 25, 2011 Thank you all, happy you like it, yes this new version is missing bridge sticker with Omega

g.man 0 Posted September 26, 2011 Lovely watch you've got there Kenny. Cracking video and pics too. Question. Why in the blue hell do the reps of these watches all have flat crystals (afaik)? It must be a really popular watch, so surely it must be possible to make a more accurate rep than currently seems to be available? I get that the sub-dial spacing is always going to be out owing to the difference between the movements, and frankly that really doesn't bother me too much as the rep is such a nice watch anyway, but surely to goodness it can't be inconceivably difficult to put a more accurate looking crystal on the reps as standard? thoughts? g.man
KeNnY 29 Posted September 27, 2011 thank you g.man. Well rep factories will make watches with the components they have right now. And also, if the flat crystal is 1USD cheaper than the doomed one, they will pick the flat one, they don't look if it is accurate or not... Ask Robert he will tell you much about it :(
