Skyland Avenger Dial

Recommended Posts

Cynikal.Mindset

So I needed a new dial for a skyland (no fault of my own this time) and I asked a dealer to source one...here is what he got for me.

Notice the new and improved lume dots, no more funky off centre pimples!!!

Nice, but!

1. Where's chrome circles around dots?

2. Subdials have no strips !

Or it's V1,9?

:)

super avenger has chrome around the dots, not skyland

there are chrome circles around the subdials

also note the wings and logo are spaced better to the number 2 and to the date window

the dial also appears to be better pressed (numerals are more crisp)

yes, the chrome rings around the subdials aren't as thick as gen but they are there

the "automatic" font is thinner and darker like gen

looks like they thinned out the date window white outline

this new dial is a step forward from the last version but of course its not perfect and probably never will be.

It IS the picture of Skyland Avenger. And gen. Skyland has chrome circles.

But the most obvious giveaway is flat subdials. Nobody will ever notice 0,00001 thicker font, but subdials...

skyland DOES NOT have chrome around the dots see first post only the SUPER AVENGER DOES

see first amended post with gen skyland dial up close

and that pic you have up is a rep...v3 rep for that matter...the subdials on the new dial are striped

I have no clue what you are trying to prove or disprove bud

If you don't see rings around lume dots on this picture - I feel sorry for you.

And... My Skyland is 3 years old, I think it's V1.

Either you are blind, stupid or both friend but white circles around the lime dots don't = chrome. Secondly, poorly placed lume dots outside of said circles looks like shit but since you're blind you can't see that anyways. Being blind and all I wouldn't expect you to see the stripes in the subdials on the new version dial either. You're old so it's okay, I understand. So come again with what you're going on about.
