For those that like Seiko...

Recommended Posts

SeanusMaximus

Just realised (whilst sat enjoying this lovely autumn evening ;) ), that after being here a lil while, I have posted pics of all my pieces aside from the daily beater which remains from pre rep and now post rep days...

Enjoy, comment, criticise, knock yourselves out!

Seiko got it right on this one, nice on the eye! :woo:

P.s. It's a Seiko 5 SNZH057K1, just had a quick look on ebay, can't see any.. Where did u get it?

P.S. x2! What's the bezel like? Is it a friction or a proper click job?

Cheers

Ah thanks! I bought it new from a shop on travels, and as for the bezel - it clicks, but not in the conventional metallic way. It is however firm and 120clicks :)

and thanks for the comments guys!

That's a nice looking Seiko 5 Sport, and can be found at Amazon (sold by blue dial):

http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-SNZH57-Automat...s/dp/B004673QPE

This is a photo of my Seiko SARB035 (JDM):

and I don't have a photo of my Seiko 5 SNKE01 handy, so this is a photo by someone with much better photography skills than I:

Seiko_SNKE01K.jpg

This is often called the "poor man's grand seiko," since it looks very similar to one of the Grand Seiko models.

IMO

Seiko here should be the modded genuine ones cause the IDEA that its OEM Brand new..no excitement

like that first watch posted, is a fifty fathoms homage that could go further via dial caseback and strap
