greg_r 83 Posted October 14, 2011 I see that there's an improved rep of the Panerai PAM341 (aka Big Egiziano) available. The old one has been around for quite a while (I had one briefly), but suffered badly from being SS rather than Ti. Build quality wasn't the greatest either, with a rather sloppy bezel. That coupled with the sheer bleedin' size of the thing made it feel like you were strapping a truck wheel to your wrist. Well, I dunno whether the build quality has improved, but it appears that there's now an Egi available in a Ti case, which should at least cut down on the weight issues. For those of you with 8" wrists and above (remember, this thing is 60mm!!!), you'll find it on Josh's site as of now (which I assumes means that others will also be able to obtain it. Perhaps worth mentioning for the sake of those with normal sized wrists, the new run of Pam243's seems to have arrived. Spotted on Andrew's site last night for $278. Was never quite sure about it from the photos, but I think I'm gonna hafta buy myself one in due course - despite it being somewhat outside my usual 'comfort zone' price at over $400...
