Rolex Sub 1680 from Silix

So I initially ordered 2 subs from their July promotional sales (29,95+ shipping). They was however held back by danish customs and will probably end their days on the wrist of some customs duuuuude.

In the meantime, Silix was out of stock on the subs i ordered to begin with, so they offered me to pick two in roughly the same price range.

 

I picked 2x 1680 and had them sent to 2 different adresses to avoid customs hassle.

 

they arrived last week, just before my festival adventure

 

I am actually quite impressed with these.. I gave on to my brother and kept one for myself.

The 21j movement is the smoothest 21600 I have ever seen besides my Fakey build SMP.

I never see any feedback on silix offers on .cc so I'm wary of if their actually any good - if the above is indicative of the quality then I may pay more attention!

Congrats, looking good. I've just ordered a Sub that looks pretty much the same from Lawrence. It was $92 with free shipping and I thought I was doing well. It's advertised as having the Asian 21J too.

 

I was doing well February through to July, bought nothing, and now it's two in two weeks...

Take the movement out and push it out with your fingers.

Yup... did that

just had to remove to crystal retaining ring first.

 

It's a real improvement. look at that date magnification.

I will get my brother to take proper pics instead of my sloppy photos.
