Dingo1974 0 Posted October 31, 2011 Did the gen version of this ever come with white dial markers or is this a sure tell of it being a rep? All the gen pics i've seen show black markers so I'd just like to check. Thanks
Luthier 1 Posted October 31, 2011 It's not black, it's just the light reflection. Markers are shiny.

B) What was the reasoning behind the "no" advice if you don't mind me asking? Edited October 31, 2011 by Dingo1974
Baldrick 1 Posted October 31, 2011 It's not black, it's just the light reflection. Markers are shiny. Wrong, the yellow dial Avenger Seawolf has black markers, not shiny ones, if you see a YDSA with silver or shiny markers, it's incorrect, it also comes with either 'stick' markers or Arabic numerals An Expert at this forum said no. And who was the 'expert', I don't know any experts on these fora ?

Well, expert was a metaphor, but it's probably someone here on the forum who knows more about the seawolf yellow dial than others I belive. Or should I say he is more interested in Breitling, than mostly others are He believed that this watch was not good enough. It was his opinion....and I felt the same. Del 4,499 Posted October 31, 2011 I don't mind admitting that Pihlippe asked me about the one on sale at RWI with the white numerals as per Luthier's pic above. In my opinion, it is not a good rep of the Seawolf due to the white numerals, since, as Baldrick has also pointed out, they should be black. Better to save your money for another day I reckon!
