Member X 91 Posted November 8, 2011 Is there some of the stem still in the crown? Or did you just turn the crown counterclockwise and unscrew it off the stem? lol
Luthier 1 Posted November 8, 2011 Screw it back, bastard, or you're screwed!
wat44 0 Posted November 8, 2011 do I glue the crown back on the stem? the tricky bit it that spring that juts out from the middle of the stem
Luthier 1 Posted November 8, 2011 Yes, you have to use some glue, preferably cyanoacrylate, crazy one.

wat44 0 Posted November 26, 2011 im getting ready to do this, but im worried about the spring - check out my awesome drawing: the spring sticks out and im worried I cant get a good contact for the glue
10:10 Watch Repair 1 Posted November 29, 2011 you may want to consider replacing the crown. Otherwise, jewelers epoxy should work, but it's hard to not foul the spring.
MikeMcNair 0 Posted November 30, 2011 actually fella's, on this type of crown, its PRESS FIT IN, NOT screwed. you need a new crown and stem, period. if it won't simply screw back into place, its a press fit. i have wrestled MANY of these, and thre is no way to press it in tight enough.
