PAM183 crown came off the stem

Is there some of the stem still in the crown? Or did you just turn the crown counterclockwise and unscrew it off the stem? :dingleberry-nemesis: lol

do I glue the crown back on the stem? the tricky bit it that spring that juts out from the middle of the stem

Yes, you have to use some glue, preferably cyanoacrylate, crazy one.

im getting ready to do this, but im worried about the spring - check out my awesome drawing:

the spring sticks out and im worried I cant get a good contact for the glue

you may want to consider replacing the crown.

Otherwise, jewelers epoxy should work, but it's hard to not foul the spring.

actually fella's, on this type of crown, its PRESS FIT IN, NOT screwed. you need a new crown and stem, period.

 

if it won't simply screw back into place, its a press fit.

 

i have wrestled MANY of these, and thre is no way to press it in tight enough.
