I overestimated my watchmaking skills and the toughness of my watches and now have these projects that I am stuck with! CRAP!

The projects are:

1x Omega Planet Ocean from Narikaa - Needed: 1 new clasp (the nipple fell off)

1x Omega UPO - Needed: 1 new clasp (the nipple fell off) (oh, and I screwed the keyless works)

1x Rolex Explorer 1 - Needed: 1 movement holder tap+screw

1x SMP - Needed: 1 new clasp (fucked it up while trying to get the part with the nipple off it)

1x Rolex submariner 1680 - Nedded: 1 proper insert (the old one had a rendevouz witht the bleach from hell)

I anyone can help me with some of these parts, I would be happy as hell.

I wanna sell some stuff to justify me buying more reps..

Thanks in advance,

Thanks mate.

I guess it's mu curiosity that makes me take those friggin' watches apart.

Next time, I will live happy with the watch I get without even screwing off the caseback...... maybe

+1

Precisly to what do you refer kinky? "Nipple" ain't exactly a term of reference I am familier with in relation to clasps.

My uh, "nipple" broke on my PO clasp to, but I was able to glue it with some epoxy and it has held okay.

...but I am usually pretty gentle on nipples..

I have 1 nipple left.. I orginally had 3. but they got lost when they fell off.

Sound really scary, right?

maybe a screw in the right size (maybe milled a little) might work.. screw it in there and then epoxy it.

It's to much work. I don't have any milling equipment, nor the finesse.

sandpaper then. I don't have these modern technology tools of tomorrow.

Duct tape and a hammer usually gets me far :)

Duct tape + Birmingham screwdriver (aka hammer) + BAMF power drill will fix anything... :Jumpy:

Well, I for one am proud of you......... The initial investment in watches, parts and tools is great.

The experience is worth the investment......

But the results are priceless..

You never make the same mistake twice with a watch.....

Not so with women..... :)
