If its a Gen you cant be to careful I recommend a Stanley knife, chisel, flat headed screwdriver and a large hammer.

I had a go but gave up. Two movements to play with and lots of pushers, stems and bits to undo - plus no obvious way to do it.

There's a little slot on the bezel, about 5mm long, above 2 o'clock pusher. Very tiny slot, but it's visible. Open the bezel, extract 21j mov't with dial, and you'll see quartz movement with battery holder.

Ah Ha! Thank you very much Luthier! :)

I looked at it before with my 3x desk mag and missed it but the USB microscope shows it up.

My fine tipped case knife is in the market toolbox which is packed in the car, I'll do this tomorrow. You know, I have asked dealers(lay, LP,and Angus for starters) about this and they had NFI how to open the damned thing! I really appreciate you taking the time to get a pic to make it clear for us.

Damn it Luthier, you must have higher better version of that Patek :D I don't have that hinge there, I checked like half an hour if it is there and is was not. then another hour I tried to open it with caseback knife without damaging the case, but I was successful . And what a surprise, the button what should be On OFF for quartz is simply fake button and doesn't do anything !!! Lol.. I had to completely disassemble it , because of the crystal crack. I also regulated the movement and replaced the batter.

I will post pictures.

But when I push it back I don't think I will be able to disassemble it again, lol
