myaz 3 Posted December 3, 2011 Nice. Do you have a "before" to see what the cape cod did?

Gazillionaire 0 Posted December 3, 2011 Isn't the SS strap brushed steel, won't it need a refinishing pad used on it to get the brush effect back? Nooby Noob talking here so if I'm wrong forgive me! Ps would be great if someone could do a tutorial on how to clean a dssd/Sub with a cape cod cloth and refinishing pad or whatever it is best to use. If this has been done already haven't found it. boneyjr 1 Posted December 3, 2011 yes it is brushed steel, but the cape cod doesn't completely polish it outright... it cleans it up and makes it shine... thats all.
Mowgli 0 Posted January 3, 2012 It is a lot easier to polish than get a good brushed finish in my experience.
Spirit 0 Posted March 2, 2012 ...Did you wash it under running water and with soap too? I do that to all my watches after sealing and waterproofing it, and it does a hell of a difference from when the watches arrive. For the SS watches, I even brush/scrub them with a bit of toothpaste, and then wash them again. Never tried CapeCod to see the results...But will see if I can make it someday. Cheers, Spirit.
