Lug screw won't come out of Pam 104

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help me.

This isn't a huge issue, because I currently have my 104i on a Jose Maria strap that I love. However, I wanted to see how it looked on a Panatime black croc that I have.

One strap came off fine, but the buckle end strap won't. When I take my screw driver to the lug screw it twists and twists but wi=on't come out. So the screw twists around but doesn't come out. Similarly, screwing it the other way doesn't make it any tighter.

Any ideas what the problem is and if there's a nice easy fix?

Cheers,

Tommy

Sounds like it's a stripped lug screw. Unscrew it as far as it will turn and use a toothpick to push it through the lug until you can grab it. Either buy new lug screws or get some Pam spring bars so it won;t happen again.

You were bang on. That was really easy, I should have worked it out. Luckily I have a spare screw so problem solved.

Thanks very much GTHR
