Markliquor 0 Posted January 22, 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjJBN4EnbsY Hi everyone, Can anyone tell me what make this movement is? Starts at 1:37. I particularly like the rotor on this. I do realize it is "wrong" for this watch because it is missing the two holes on the sides.
Luthier 1 Posted January 22, 2012 This is not A7750, but 21j movement, 21,600 bph.
g.man 0 Posted January 22, 2012 Isn't that just a cheap Asian 21j auto movement? The chrono functions on that particular watch in the video are faux so I presume it's not a 7750 at all. regards g.man
greg_r 81 Posted January 22, 2012 Yup - cheap and nasty rep. Non-working chronos. 21J movement with a customised rotor. Avoid.
Markliquor 0 Posted January 22, 2012 Thanks guys. So a 21j is actually worse than an Asian 7550 (quality wise)?
Luthier 1 Posted January 22, 2012 21j itself is an excellent mov't, but it has no chrono function, like A7750. It's absolutely different beasts. 21j is good for cheaper version of non-chrono watches, like Rolex Submariner, Omega Planet Ocean and plenty of other good watches. But using 21j for the watch with chrono subdials is wrong, because c21j has no chrono function.
