First time buying Rep...with pictures

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone.

(pardon to my bad grammer)

I am very new to this Replica watches thing and I am still learning everyday. To date, I still know nothing about movement, modding, etc :suck:

I have been browsing a lot and I really like the Tag Heuer design. I see Lawrence as a trusted seller & it seems like he has pretty decent reviews and price range (around $120-150 per watch). Therefore, I placed an order with him 1 month ago.

Communication : (10/10)

- very fast response (the longest I have wait is 24 hours)

- very helpful, took the time to teach me terms "flyback, etc"

- receive QC pictures peacefully

- smooth transaction & fast tracking number

Shipping : (10/10)

- no duty was charge in Canada

- tracking number provide all the info I want

Packaging : (10/10)

- quadra protection : envelop -> envelop -> bubble wrap -> wrap again. (SUPER PROTECTIVE)

Product (10/10)

1st TAG Heuer : TAG 1123 - TAG HEUER CARRERA FLYBACK

- one minor dent.

PRODUCT (_____/10)

2nd TAG 1003 - TAG HEUER CARRERA 1887 PVD

- there is a 1/4 circle glue & scratch underneath the glass (left bottom corner from 6-9)....2nd pic

- the watch stops every 5 second. (i shake it still does the same)

Do you know, that you have to manually wind the watch via crown at least 10-15 turns? Then wear it, and let movement wind itself, it's auto.

And - no need to post the picture with your address, it's a big no-no here.

Are they quartz or auto's?

The Day/date (2nd watch) says chronograph/quartz on the 9 o'clock subdial. The dial has other differences when compared to my auto, for instance the subdials are raised instead of sunken.

Lawrence just told me both are quartz, and he does recognize the problem on the 2nd watch...

I will have to send back the watch & wait for the replacement...

such a hassle ...:/

how are you liking that clasp system? I have 2 like that and never wear them anymore because the clasp system is such an annoyance to me.

Hey I cant seem to find Lawrence anywhere on the form. Seems like you guys don't take kindly to dumb questions from new guys but any help would be appreciated.
