Soopah Spy 0 Posted February 6, 2012 Yes, there was a Seamaster tie-in watch made by Omega for both 'Casino Royale" and "Quantum Of Solace". This one at least appears to be the "Quantum Of Solace" watch. The He escape valve looks to be properly aligned, and the very faint "Quantum Of Solace" logo in the crystal seems to be present. But the pearl seems a bit odd, somehow... almost discoloured? The 007 logos and trademarking seem to be as original... but in all honesty, the seller is selling as-is, no returns accepted, with no box or paperwork. Without taking it to an AD and having it authenticated, I wouldn't part with the pounds. At the very least, the seller should provide a shot of the movement for that kind of money. Soopah Spy 0 Posted February 7, 2012 Not likely. Those limited editions have their own rabid fanbase. A Gen would be known, and quite easy to check. If I'm not mistake, that particular run was limited to 1007 units total, worldwide, and serial numbered as such. The model has been repped, and is available in some fairly high quality versions from our TD's. Either it's Gen, and was owned by a very careless owner... or it's a rep. There's a basis for all the stories you've ever heard of amazing deals gotten from folks who didn't know what they had. But the percentages are against it. Olly, if you're really interested in it, see if the seller will send you pics of the movement, S/N and maybe a copy of an AD's certificate of authenticity?
