A Pam-addicted comrade build some pieces in his shop.

Those are milled of aluminium and finished by hand.

How did he machine the flats on the inside? I'm thinking dividing head with a very small dia. milling bit? Or some other way? :)

At first he worked with a lathe, shape was done by CNC milling machine and finally smoothed the edges by hand.

As far as I know and understood....

As far as I know and understood....

Dividing heads are de rigeur in any machine shop, as are dwangs, verynear calipers and bastard files. :D
