goldwrapped daytona

hi ! i´ve been looking everywhere for a ss/gold daytona that has the 14K goldwrapping on bezel and the bracelet middle-links, but as soon as i find one they are allways seconds at 6.

don´t they wrapp the seconds at 9 versions or what ???? would be grateful for info where to get one of these. thanks.

Gold wrapped bezels don't exist. Wrapping can only be done on the midlinks, or other flat surfaces. It's not really needed on the bezel anyway. You want the heavier gold on the parts of the watch that get the most wear, like the bracelet.

 

I got mine from Silix:

 

 

The first bracelet was an old-style bracelet, sans the "comfort link." It began flaking at 3-4 months. The replacement they sent was/is fantastic, though, and has the comfort link.

 

Their site still had seconds-at-nine Daytonas:

You could ask them if they can get a full gold rep. Or ask Lawrence or Robert.

I wouldn't buy from Silix these days and I don't think Lawrence lists this one - ask PWC or WatchInternational - if it's still available, they should be able to get it.

Yep, Robert or Mary will find you one. I also would be leaving Silix well alone. Silix himself is no longer the main man and things have gone down hill rapidily there.
