cobn 0 Posted March 2, 2012 Hi folks, just want to share some of my pleasure with you i bought a vintage daytona from a member over at rwi and i still cant believe what ive got. the sale was declared as "asian clone movement" with no further description. on first sight it looked like a 21J, but there was no running big second hand - but the chrono didnt worked in the first place. i dropped the seller some PMs and asked him to unscrew the pushers and suprise suprise: the chrono worked - after this was clarified, i did some research and by reference to the dial, it seems like a Poljot 3133 movement - and of course, it is sadly the ss bracelet is to short and there were no more spare links included. maybe one of you guys has some spare links or a complete bracelet. would be awesome! anyway, i took my chances paid this guy 110$ and 5 days later, this is what i got: (sorry for the crappy phone pictures, they dont to this stunning watch justice) and of course, a wristie, looks like this one get some serious wrist-time Going to get a proper camera asap to shot some better pictures. and of course, a new ss bracelet. if anyone got some spare flying around and dont know what to do with it: give me a shot thank you for watching, hope you like it as much as i do greetings borat

greg_r 81 Posted March 2, 2012 Looks damned good for $110. Daytonas are far too classy for a NATO though - gotta be bracelet or leather!

cobn 0 Posted March 3, 2012 i will take a picture of the movement as soon as possible, still looking for a way to open it up. i have a caseback opener, some kind of universal opener but it kinda sucks. now i have to get some ducktape
Ephry73 5 Posted March 3, 2012 handball or squash balls work also. A pair of Fiskas scissors can do the trick, but be VERY careful. E
