Just be aware that 'firm dates' tend to translate as 'best guess' in this hobby. Josh told me he was expecting the next batch on 10th March, but bear in mind that the last batch turned up about a week late and contained fewer watches than expected, so the real question is whether he'll have enough in the next batch to fulfil existing orders, let alone new ones (I ordered mine on 10th and still didn't get one from the first lot).

Mine should be in my hands today, just checked USPS tracking and it arrived in town this morning so it should be on the truck today, or if not tomorrow for sure. Pretty fast shipping, Toro posted it on the 27th and it's here on the 2nd. That's 5 days from China to Northern Ca.!

He does send QC pics but they're not extremely conclusive, it's shows it's your watch and no one's smashed it with a hammer, but that's about it. He's a good TD so I trust he gives it a good checkout before he sends it, the pics are just a teaser. I don't know how he packages it, I'll let you know later today after it arrives.

Well, it's here and it looks great. The strap is nice as well, very soft and it looks like it could be gen. Here are a few pics to answer your questions DFH. Enjoy!

I have a question regarding this watch. This is my first hand wind rep, according to the sales info this watch has a Asian UNITAS-6497-2 17J hand-winding movement at 21600vph. What is the normal amount of winding for this movement to run and for how many days is it supposed to run before needing to be wound again?

Thanks Scott! Looks fantastic! Does the strap have the Typo error that I saw someone mention on another thread? They said that the inside of the strap is stamped "Officine Paneran" with an "n" instead of an "i" at the end. No big deal for me - the watch looks killer... You happy? Must have made your day!

Yes I'm very happy, I've been waiting for another watch I bought from a member and it got lost in the either somewhere and just resurfaced yesterday but it's still not here and its been more almost 3 weeks! So I was jonesing for a new watch fix and this certainly did it for me. As to your question about the strap, it looks like the "officine Panerai is okay, athough the "i" almost looks like it was stamped after the Panera and looks a little like a "J" but it's hard to tell because I've already had it on and the strap has wrinkled in the area and the stamping is not that deep. The "Panerai Italy" on the strap on the buckle end is wrong as it says "Paneran Italy"., but whose going to notice anyway?

Now that is not even fair!!! Who did you get this strap/buckle combo from? I was thinking about a new Wotancraft 1950 strap - but this one almost made me drool!

Strap is from Uwe (timebandit) buckle from Joe Frazier http://www.replica-w...?showuser=16376

cheers
