Hey guys, boy am I glad I found this site before buying a rep! I really like Omega Seamasters, so I'm looking for a really good rep of one...perferably the 2531.80 as seen here:

This site is so great that it is a little overwhelming, so any guidance would be completely appreciated!

I'm hopeing to find a rep that has accurate movement (fastest possible automatic movement). Price isn't too much of an issue, as I know I will need to spend more to get what I want.

Thanks for the help!

Fastest possible movement? Well... there's the screw on the back of the movement, if you'll turn in to the + mark - it will run much faster.

SEARCH button is your guidance.

OK, jokes aside - really., mate you have to read our threads for a week, then you'll know much more about watches and movements.

Welcome to the forum!!!

Oh, one more thing - grow thick skin, you'll need it here.

:D

Ha, exit 34 on 295, or exit 4 off the NJTP.

I guess I'm looking for a Swiss ETA?

Welcome from Philly.

Funny how NJ is all about the turnpike, a shitty road that is the backbone of the state......oh well....

........ignore me and have fun here - great site and even better people.

Thanks for all the kind words of welcome folks! Yeah, it's funny how people talk about the turnpike so much when describing the state...but it does have its nice features. The Pine Barrens are great, and unlike any other place in the world, so at least we have that going for us :-)

On to the watches--

So from what I've read, I either want a Swiss ETA movement or an Asian replica.

Who makes the nicest/best functioning/most accurate Seamaster Pro (ala the 2531.80)? Would that be Mary, or is there someone else you'd recommend. Her's seems to be one of the few that places the helium valve properly.
