yangfilo 0 Posted March 7, 2012 (edited) I have a Genuine ROLEX SUBMARINER Blue Dial that fits 16803 16808 or 16818. I would like to build the Franken with Gen dial on a replica. Thinking of starting with this ss/gld watch from timesshop and changing the dial. Can i do better than $250 he is asking? http://www.timesshop.net/submariner/4071-ro1500---rolex-submariner-blue-dial-tt-rgss-aaa---swiss-eta-2836-2.html Edited March 7, 2012 by yangfilo

10:10 Watch Repair 1 Posted March 7, 2012 2836-2 is the best option unless you want to buy a 3035. You have to remove the dial feet, a good way to attach the dial to the movement is to glue the datewheel spacer to the dial and then fit that over the movement. Be very careful with clearances. yangfilo 0 Posted March 7, 2012 this dial came out of a 39mm case, will that be a problem fitting most 40mm replicas
