Mazz 62 Posted March 8, 2012 I just recived my latest Gen today a Grand Seiko SBGR031. It just simiply an amazing watch, hand assembled in Japan inhouse movement. Too bad my photos are not able to capture the subtle beauty of this watch; the hands, and all the hour markers sparkle like they were diamonds. How Seiko achieve this is no magic, but precise cut in multiple facets with different polish methods on the same object (brushed and mirror shine using traditional hand polish method) and with the slightly domed shape sapphire crsytal and how they position the chapter ring, etc, every single bit of light pass through the crystal and reflect light from markers and hands as though they were diamonds. The dial is georgous black like stareing in to the abyss........................ Anyway I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I enjoy the watch. And a side comparison to my LV sub
