Well, after being told by a lady friend (not lady boy) that MBK in Bangkok has some good replicas, I was shocked that they wanted a pre-negotiated 2500 bhat ($70). They looked like the el cheapo crappy ones I bought in Malaysia - one of which died and the other is running strong! The mbk catalogues were even the same. I then asked if they were 'ETA' and one of the vendors rolled her eyes and said, "eta? 14,500B" haha.

So I'm hear just to find out the facts/myths about fakes/reps.
