offshore 0 Posted April 15, 2012 Nice collection schmooze. They sometimes call the accumulator / rechargeable battery a capacitor. from memory i think that's what they called it, a capacitor. I purchased a $500.00 seiko kinetic for my wife in the mid 90's and it didn't last anywhere near 3 years. Then the AD service bloke wanted a few hundred to change it. It lies idle these days. Well get a quote from TB on an accumulator for that Seiko. You will need to remove the rotor to replace the accumulator, however I'm sure you will buy a new one for well under $100.00, in fact I'm positive! offshore 0 Posted April 15, 2012 Then the AD service bloke wanted a few hundred to change it. It lies idle these days. See...another trap for the punters. launched by the big boys! "Charge 'em a motza for replacement parts....and they buy a new watch!" Shits me when the part is about $20.00 cost! Offshore.

trailboss99 994 Posted April 15, 2012 Nice piece this Eco-drive.... I must revive my old Aqualand.... Citizen will try to tell you that only they can service that, wrong. The hardest part is extracting a new seal from the tightwads.

The hardest part is extracting a new seal from the tightwads. I'm looking for some movement parts though Think ebay is the place to look - have som bids going now... trailboss99 994 Posted April 15, 2012 Let me know if you have no joy. We can sometimes bully Citizen into supplying parts.

Seppi3 0 Posted June 30, 2012 Hi Del, Like the images you posted, I have the titanium version with matt case and bracelet. Also see you have a Pam 111, very jealous, just sent an order to torrobravo, can't wait. Once I "suss out" how to load images on this forum, I will load up my Eco drives. B5GLX 0 Posted June 30, 2012 I have a Citizen Eco-Drive Chrono (non-titanium), too. While it's neat watching the hands move by themselves when you switch dual zones, I find that the watch "crashes" and messes up the zero synchronization after awhile. I have to do a factory reset periodically, which is annoying. It's like I'm rebooting a PC. It doesn't get any wrist time anymore.
Seppi3 0 Posted July 7, 2012 Hi Del, as promised a couple of shot of my Eco-drives including my titanium version of your chrono . Seppi
