scope 3 Posted April 15, 2012 While waiting on the right Daytona parts I have started a 5512 build on the cheap. I have started with a 5512 Josh budget and have a Ingod dial on the way. Used a smaller crown which is sunken closer to the case and just have a little more polishing to do.I have drilled the lugs and installed the correct spring bars and a J@K T19 plexi. Let me know what you think
Amit 72 Posted April 29, 2012 Dude that a really nice build. Did you do any work to the CG's
scope 3 Posted April 29, 2012 Yeah, Josh's crown guards are pretty stubby so I changed the crown to a smaller one and sank it as close to the case as i could get and turned it into a pointed crown guard.

DeLaForce 2 Posted August 3, 2012 How did you drill the lugs? i have a bench drill but don't think it would be accurate enough I used a cordless drill very slowly with a 1.6mm bit.Went through 3 bits Lol I did the same on my 6152...3 bits I was wondering if am I doing this wrong?? Even bought drill lube and ice every 5 seconds... Worked but still went through more drill bits than I thought necessary.
scope 3 Posted August 3, 2012 (edited) The bits were cheapies that I picked up from Northern Tool. This store is home to many one time use cheap tools. Edited August 3, 2012 by scope
