scorpion 0 Posted August 4, 2012 How did you drill the lugs? i have a bench drill but don't think it would be accurate enough I used a cordless drill very slowly with a 1.6mm bit.Went through 3 bits Lol I did the same on my 6152...3 bits I was wondering if am I doing this wrong?? Even bought drill lube and ice every 5 seconds... Worked but still went through more drill bits than I thought necessary. How do you decide where to drill the holes in the outside? Its got to meet up with the original holes and you cant put a drill through that. As for bits most of the cheap ones are soft and will go blunt fast as Stainless is a hard metal, even a decent brand like Dormer or Ghuring wont like SS unless you go for a solid carbide one.
