oscarmadfish 0 Posted November 4, 2009 have you done that sconey ?
prestigewatchco 2 Posted November 4, 2009 Any Llloyds or halifax branch or you can do it online or over the phone if you have online banking set up. Works out cheaper for UK members as the exchange rate $ to pound is the commercial rate so you don't pay the silly paypal exchange rate. You just pay in pounds

sconehead 5 Posted November 4, 2009 I think Robert must've balanced paypal hassle versus loss of custom and decided this was the way to go. However, for more experienced buyers who know the score, maybe he might make an exception for them in the near future?

However, for more experienced buyers who know the score, maybe he might make an exception for them in the near future? I don't blame him. I think there are a lot of noobs doesn't have a clue how rep-buying works. I hope that paypal will be an available again as it's my only option.
prestigewatchco 2 Posted November 4, 2009 It was an easy calculation Scone around 30% of the business is with paypal and 90% of the time I spend sorting payments out is with paypal. Between the members and paypal themselves always seemed to be something that needed sorting out just too time consuming to tell the truth and they limit accounts and need this paper and that paper all the time
Member X 91 Posted November 4, 2009 Cash payment into a bank is ideal really - no paper trail for interested parties to follow unless they take the time to track back CCTV footage or something equally over the top. Of course, now they are biometric face scanning all passport photos and have face recognition camera technology available, how long before we turn into Minority Report and every shop we walk into logs who we are...
