tommylad 0 Posted May 5, 2012 Hi guys, This is an extension of my "which Breitling?" thread. I'm definitely getting a Chtonomat evolution. So, to the conundrum. In the flesh, which looks better: Black dial with black subdials Black dial with white/silver subdials The pics of both look great, but I'm wary of the silver subdials looking a bit blingy. Any informed opinions?

sconehead 5 Posted May 5, 2012 I'll be honest with you, the reason I chose the graphite dial was because rumor had it that was the version the factory had it repped from...therefore it was considered the most accurate...

tommylad 0 Posted May 5, 2012 I see yes. I think that graphite colour scheme could be the one then. Your picture has swayed me. Cheers.

Scone... you really think they copied graphite precisely, and for other colors they use different molds?
HWG 11 Posted May 5, 2012 I like the grey/graphite dial. But your choices mentioned black on black or black/white silver... of those two I say black on black either way, you have chosen a sweet piece.

Scone... you really think they copied graphite precisely, and for other colors they use different molds? ...Nope Luth...but that's why my fave (white dial) was the wrong shade in the rep... edit: also the sub dial etchings were out 'cepting for the graphite...
