Noob here with a question. Help needed.

Hello. This is a fantastic site. I just purchased my first "real" watch, an IWC 3717-01. I wanted to put it on the SS bracelet but was quoted $1,800 by the IWC AD! $1,800 for just the bracelet!

 

So my plan is to get a good rep and just use the SS bracelet. Will this work? Please let me know if you can point me in the right direction.

Hi John,

 

You could send Rochest at [email protected] an email

with pics of the watch on bracelet.

 

If the rep bracelet exists, he can source it.

Most likely just the bracelet, so you don't have to buy the watch.

 

He will tell you if the quality is any good too

Nice!!! I have my 3717-02 currently with Richemont fixing a problem with the chrono second hand not lining up with the 12 marker.

 

If yours is under warranty I'd use the chrono as much as you can to make sure you don't run into similar woes.

Thank you for the assistance. I will post pic's once I get the bracelet and have it on my 3717. I'm curious to see how this pursuit will turn out. I think it would be fun to have a gen IWC 3717 with a rep 3717 SS bracelet.

 

For now, mine's it's just a stock 3717-01.

Welcome to the forum - very nice choice for a first "real" piece - and definitely check with Mary/Rochest or Toro about the bracelet/ I won't bug you about the pics - I am sure you already got the message!!! Cheers...
