Removing Antimagnetic cover on UPO

Recommended Posts

Can someone tell me how to remove the antimagnetic cover on a UPO so I can regulate the time slightly? I just need to slow it down a little but cannot get to it because of this antimagnetic cover.

Thanks.

Pretty sure mine just lifted off once I'd unscrewed the case back. Hang on, I'll go and have another look.

I've read that these can stick to the movement holder, a fine blade could be slid under it and worked round?

Just checked mine and it just lifts off. It's not threaded so if it's stuck it should just pry off with a screwdriver or similar as OB suggests.

CC/Onion,

Thanks guys. That did the trick. It was just stuck on but a little pry from a thin screwdriver got it off.

Glad they got in before I did cause my suggestion would have been a hammer.

A hammer!? Good God man, are you mad?

The hammer is for REPLACING the antimag cover not removing it. Tut.
