Hi everyone,

I signed up a couple of days ago after this site was recommended to me. I'm very new to the rep game having only made two purchases so far but I already have a taste for it with a long shopping list and I am looking forward to spending a huge chunk of my salary on these things. The sellers here look good with some exceptional prices/warranties/etc and having read through a few threads, it seems like a there is a good spirit in the site so I look forward to spending more time here!

Paul

Hey thanks! I will certainly try my best to post photos as I build my collection. My biggest worry at the moment is that I may get carried away and before long end up spending enough on reps to have purchased a genuine watch.. I guess if that does happen, at least I will have the variety

Welcome to the forum Paul, plenty of watch nuts here. Most of the guys are sad watch nerds who are addicted to buying watches, not me I'm cured, got to go now watching a watch on ebay.

Hi again everyone,

Thanks for all the welcome messages, girlie pics, etc. I've not logged in for a while as I placed an order and wanted it to arrive safely before I got my eye on something else!

2 watches arrived by EMS this afternoon from Mary. An Aquaterra (white dial) and the popular old Seamaster pro. The service was excellent and the watches both look very good. I have only had a quick look at them before I had to return to work but I will be examining them closely later. I'll try and upload some pics (of boobs?) if I have time.

I'm back home now and had a bit more time to look at these properly. I must say that they both look excellent. The only slight issue I have noticed is that there are a couple of tiny marks around the 8'o'clock position on the Aquaterra but they are small and not too ovbious. I have taken some snaps (sorry, watches not women) if anyone would like to see. Comments welcome.

Aquaterra:

The small imperfection marks on dial -

Seamaster (amazing quality for the price):

Id appreciate any feedback on the dial marks on the aqua, they really are slight but would be better if they werent there. I imagine these things are probably acceptable on reps but being new to this, I dont know.

Thanks. I ordered this aqua as it looks like a massively upgraded version of an old DKNY watch I owned and liked many, many years ago. Its a shame I cant stop looking at that tiny blob on it  it could also have done with some half links - its just a tiny bit tight or a tiny bit too loose and has made me realise that I must have a fat hand to wrist ratio as its a struggle to get it past my chunky fingers :P

Two great looking watches. But, I think I'd send those pictures of the Aqua Terra off to Mary. It looks like you got some moisture in there somehow. I'd hate to have to send it back to China but you ought to at least open it up and check the inside for moisture.

I keep telling myself I need that model Seamaster but my other 20 watches keep saying, "Why?".
