omni 6 Posted December 9, 2008 Okay, although I'm supposed to be working today, I thought I'd add a little to the watch database here since it was wiped out. Will try to add my part as I see if I can dredge up some old topics when I have more time during this busy holiday season. Here is an example for what you can get for the price of a good rep. This was an antique GP I got on a German eBay auction a few years back for $500 USD, a rose gold dress watch, 'bout 38mm case. At the time these were made, the cases were being manufactured in Argentina and is stamped on the back, the movements, of course, were made in Switzerland. Since they didn't use pins for the strap attachment then, had to get an old type glue-on lizard from France to fit this. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Its circa 1950s vintage and solid rose gold. 2 years ago the price of gold was much lower than it is today because of the worldwide economic downturn.
