Sticking glass marker on

Recommended Posts

ReplicaFromDownunder

Hi all,

My sisters tag heuer link with diamond (glass) markers on bezel has had a glass marker fall off. Just want to know what type of glue or substance will re stick to glass marker back on the dial.

Does super glue work or need a special glue? Thanks

Are you talking about the diamond hour markers on the dial?

If so you will find that they are attached by a small pin through the dial. the ideal way to reattatch them is to push them back on, and glue from behind the dial.

Then you get no glue near the face of the dial or the diamond marker.once you get a glue smear on the diamond part of the marker it will never go away. So look at working from the back. You can use minute amounts of super glue, applied with a pin tip or GS hypo for this job. (or epoxy) not from the front though!!
