The original version of the BR 01 AIRBORNE in black carbon takes its inspiration directly from military

symbolism. It is a tribute to paratroopers and their values.

 

In a constant quest for perfection, Bell & Ross is today offering two precious and exclusive versions of

this icon model: The Airborne 415, paved with 415 diamonds, and even more precious, the Airborne 672,

entirely set with diamonds.

 

The sober gleam of black diamonds on the case and the sparkle of white diamonds of the skull and

crossbones are a striking contrast. The finish quality is an illustration of the know-how of the Swiss

Bell & Ross workshops and their total mastery of the setting process. A fusion of materials, avant-garde

techniques and fluctuating luminescence, military symbolism is flirting with haute joaillerie - the result is

exceptional.

 

Understated luxury, without ostentation in either version, they both magnify

the talisman spirit of the original model and its symbolic function, to the

The second one is something like €20k and really is an exercise in bad taste IMO lol

 

It's entirely a fashion watch from what I can see - I'm disappointed that B&R are chasing the quick buck rather than focusing on developing more classic models, such as the Heritage. They claim this skull effort is a tribute to those soldiers who jump out of planes, but I just think it's a bit tacky and a somewhat tenuous link.
