ebzen02 341 Posted June 13, 2012 Thanks guys.. Picked this one up over at WC to benefit a cancer drive.. I had to sell a few pieces to get this one...lol.. It does have a gen bracelet, plexi, and crown.. So, that bumps up the $$. The only thing a DW needs is a nice plexi and maybe the crown..IMO..unless you are building a V72 tona.. Then a gen dial would set it off.. Otherwise, I think it is faithful copy of the real deal.. Wish DW was still around, because for the money, they were the best. I just love vintage daytona's! I have this DW 6263 as well and sourced a NOS gen bracelet with end links and the DW bracelet doesn't really compare, especially the clasp and coronet. Even Yuki is better, but not as good. There is an older thread on RWG.cc somewhere that compared all three bracelets side by side. IMO nothing compares though to the feel and quality of the gen bracelet on the wrist. But agree the DW 6263 is darn good overall. Did the whole franken thing too with gen tropic 21, crown/tube and pushers.
