Steve227 0 Posted June 18, 2012 New shoes arrived today from Peter Gunny. Have to say that I am delighted. After seeing the famous '74' strap in a pic I decided that my 6152/1 would look good on something similar. This is the Caitlin 2 series. I asked Peter if he would make a strap that looked and felt 60 years old. I'd say he did this very well! Here are some pics........................... Just noticed the sink lol ignore it! MadeOfCheese 0 Posted June 19, 2012 Nice! I have the same Caitlin 2 without the 74 - the softest strap I own. Gunny is a craftsman, that's for sure. One thing I find though, is that because it's so soft it wears very thin at the lug end, if that makes sense? Almost like it needs more layers around the lugs to beef it up.
