Sold - Cigar ballpoint - Amboyna (102)

I finished this and almost kept it - you can get lost in this burl...it's lovely to work with, although like turning cement ;)

Amboyna is a burl that comes from Papua New Guinean Rosewood - A lovely timber in itself.

It's quite rare to find, and the quality varies dramatically - you can get some absolute rubbish on ebay when only one side of the blank is photographed.

So.....Hard to find, and hard to make.

This is one I really don't want to part with, but I need to sell some pens to buy in some more stock

$85aud includes pp fees, + $14 shipping by normal airmail - $5 if your in Oz.

Sorry for the high price on a ballpoint folks.....but if you pick it up, you won't be as sorry as I am to let it go.

Bloody hard to find this stuff like this too........it's often either really tight burl, or really inconsistent...even when you find stuff on ebay, you look at the other side of the photographed blank, and it's full of voids, or pith......and you're paying a bucket load for it. Sometimes 3 times more than other blanks cost.....

Criminal, really...but you're right...lovely timber.
