Olly 0 Posted June 27, 2012 just recieved my UPO from TS and when i turn the crown the dial shakes on a 42mm UPO HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crusader 0 Posted June 27, 2012 I have similar problem on my 21j Chopard, when I hand wind it, the dial moves a bit right and left. I presume it's the movement that isn't screwed tightly enough?
trailboss99 997 Posted June 27, 2012 I'd be guessing the MVT clamps are lose mate. It can happen, if the screws are not real tight the heat/cool/heat cycle of being in an unpressurised cargo hold can back them off enough for them to vibrate lose during transit. It's an easy fix for someone who can get the back off.
Hazz 0 Posted June 27, 2012 open case back and tighten screws,,,,,,simples.....common problem, I allways check all screws when a watch arrives.
10:10 Watch Repair 1 Posted June 27, 2012 I think most commonly the movement tabs have to be slightly bent. They have a bend on them to clamp down, but it sometimes needs to be finessed. In my experience the Chinese are not shy about tightening screws. (or dropping loose ones in the movement)
Hazz 0 Posted June 27, 2012 Good point cls, one after thought, one of my movements was loose, figured which side, and turned the tab the other way, that sorted it, still got the tiny screw that fell out also lol

Silverspeed 10 Posted June 27, 2012 Where's dealer's quality control then? As if dealers check movement clamps.
