fredfree 0 Posted June 28, 2012 Hi ! New to the forum, just found it out after my first rep. purchase, a 16610. Great deal of infos here, very nice forum. Wish I knew this place before making my purchase... I like the watch but the movement is 21600 bph and the second hand movement just doesn't look right... Trying to understand if I can have it modded (swapping movement ) or best to go for another rep.
Luthier 1 Posted June 28, 2012 Welcome to Forum, mate! Don't waste your time and money, buy decent watch with ETA or clone, and you'll be happy.
fredfree 0 Posted June 28, 2012 thanks guys, seems right to go for a new genuine ETA, it is a jungle out there, I was promised a genuine ETA but got this, it took me a while to figure it was 21600... I'm from Italy, any good dealer in this country or EU ?
Luthier 1 Posted June 28, 2012 Your nick reveal your location, ragazzo. Italy Customs are pretty tough on replicas, I've heard. Most of our dealers ship to Italy thru UK, so, less worries.

fredfree 0 Posted June 28, 2012 Sorry for the i phone quality... The cyclope is slightly twisted towards 2 o clock but also the small crown on the sapphire is...so i guess that the problem is that the whole sapphire has been mounted wrong.
Luthier 1 Posted June 28, 2012 Yeah, it's weird Sub... Strange rehaut, misaligned crystal... How much did you pay? Advice - keep pictures size around 200-220kb.

Luthier 1 Posted June 28, 2012 My personal choice of dealer is Watchinternational, for years. We have many other good dealers - Toro, Marvellous, Narikaa, etc. What's wrond with rehaut? The upper part is too wide, and there's some strips around the circle, perforation like, don't know, what is it. 250 euros for 21j??? Boy, you've gotta be kidding me... $75 is more appropriate price. seclark007 11 Posted June 28, 2012 Welcome.....unfortunately, it would appear that you got taken on your original purchase for that much money.....especially for a supposed 21j movement. An expensive lesson for sure, but one that many, many others have also paid to learn! S
