Both sold out rather quick. But those two watches don't wholly define that Austrio-Swiss love affair. It goes deeper... To celebrate the man-watch love Audemars and Arnold shared, AP will release a new limited edition of 1,500 watch set called "The Legacy." machiavegli 6 Posted June 29, 2012 Jeff!! + 1!! I tried on the gen at the San Diego AD.... Great looking watch. Big but flatter than a lot of APRO, very light on the wrist. The (many) colors look cooler and less clash-y in person than in pics. ANDMAN.ELLIPSIS 0 Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) This just has to be one of the most beautiful AP's ever...... I came within a whisker of buying a Gen........ BUT ...... believe it or not..... You cannot get the strap wet.... or it ruins it........ and there is no other strap made for it.. Clever AP....very Clever so a waterproof watch you can´t take in the water..... So YEH...... bring out a bloody good rep..... that I also can't take in the water..... but with a rep.... i truly won't mind.... I want one !!!!! Ended up getting two other AP gens for the price of one though.... now it´s time to start my Rep collection......... U guys wow.... there´s an awful lot to learn........ EDIT Since found out other straps do fit... but none others made with those beautiful ridges running down the sides that go so perfectly....
