Hello Folks,

I am getting a PAM, sorry Onze

(picture "borrowed" from various places)

Which One:

PAM087 (can't find a dealer for this though)

PAM187

PAM194

PAM243 (Picture by Silverspeed)

PAM225 Slytech (can't find a dealer)

PAM202 Slytech (can't find a dealer)

PAM183G (Greg_r's pic)

I would naturally like the one which is the most accurate - but no 500 dollar watches.

All of the above. It'll make a reasonable start to the collection ;)

If I had to buy just one to start with, though - it'd probably be the 243.

I think the Radiomir would be most flexible day to day - dress it up, dress it down, will still look good. Isn't that much 'different' to the original 44mm PAMs though, therefore could be 'boring'?

The others are nice and chunky but all very similar ;) lol

243 has a nice simple dial but the 187 is quite nice too...

I can't decide! lol

243 is nice!

It's a black dial, more classy!

Sub pam look too crowded with chrono!

And finally, not the list a sub pam is a big watch so you need a not too complicated bezel!

I'd couldn't understand how the 183 got there!

PAM164, black dial.

PAM250, white dial.

I prefer the Radiomir, but that's totally out of left field considering your other choices. It looks like you're into the big bezel chunky diver stuff, so go with it. I say eliminate the Radiomir from consideration.

This will be my first Panerai - I have a 111 homage (superlumed) on order from getat.

The reason for the 183G is that I like it! ;)

Luthier> I actually liked the 250 very much and had my mind made up about getting it.. but something happened. I dunno what - I just don't like it anymore.

I gotta stop revisiting this thread. I can see myself buying a 243 if I keep looking at it for much longer...

agree with 243; the others are too clunky for my taste. the Rad is a nice simple watch

too

Of course, I could always confuse the issue and post the watch I'm wearing today:

Pretty watch, no?
