shay224 0 Posted July 18, 2012 hi, i've been looking through what seems like endless options of the Rolex Sub in the special offers page from WatchInternational. This will be my first Rolex Replica. It seems like Rochest and Mary are trusted dealers and that the quality of their watches are great. How do I start to even decide which one I should get? Any help from the vets/experienced would help!!! http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=31027 http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=28924 http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=28925 http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=29232 (this one is i guess a fantasy, due to it being 43mm) http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=26232 http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=26230 not sure if i missed any other postings... Thanks again for your time to help me out! -shay
jeffw69 0 Posted July 18, 2012 appears that you have linked to a comex vintage sub, a ceramic 21J sub, a non ceramic 21J sub and some others. They are all different watches. So really, go with the one that you like.
fatarms 7,779 Posted July 18, 2012 The first one is a vintage type. The rest are variations of the watch, things you'll want to decide is if you want the painted metal bezel or a ceramic bezel, as well as what type of movement you want in it. The 21J second hand will move 6 times per second and the 28.8K movements will tick 8 times per second giving it a smoother second hand sweep. The 28.8's are more expensive as you'll see. I have a blue 21J and wear it at least twice a week to work, absolutely love it and it sells for under $100 (not including shipping).

Do you think the ceramic bezel is worth paying $20 more? Can you tell between the difference? will the paint on the metal bezel scratch off? is that a noob question? hahaha. For the movement, i guess i'll have to decide whether $100 more for a smoother sweep is worth it.
Realism 72 Posted July 18, 2012 $20 is worth 4 McDonalds value meals...
robznet 0 Posted July 18, 2012 As said above - go for the one that you like best. It's you who will wear it, fuck everyone else!

gogotsnail 0 Posted July 19, 2012 I went with a S/S Ceramic Just me, but simple is best, and the new model is very cool, I think. Went with Swiss, as I want to insure the smoothest second had motion (a known 'tell' with regard to these). I went with all S/S as I will likely swim and snorkle with this - so I wanted to insure the surface wouldn't age or delaminate or whatever. Here's a link to the history of the Comex watch. http://www.worthpoint.com/article/origin-comex-rolex-sea-dweller
morris133 18 Posted July 19, 2012 If you have a Authorized dealer close buy stop in and try the subs on. If you are lucky they might have a vintage model on hand. But browser beware! You may come out wanting more then when you went in. Sea-Dweller, Date Just, Yacht-master

Just make sure you have someone test the watch first for water resistance before you take it in any water. Remember, these watches are made to look like the genuine ones, not necessarily perform like them.
