greg_r 81 Posted December 4, 2009 Just picked this up from Houndoggie: The 288 has long been one of my favourite PAMs - I've always thought it to be the best looking of all the Radiomirs and have been wanting one for some time. When HD recently said he was planning to sell his, I jumped at the chance and it arrived earlier today - beautifully packed and looking brand new. I'd spent part of the day with a friend who had just dropped a LOT of dough on a brand new PAM311 (gen) and he was looking pretty unhappy by the time I'd opened the package and shown him what I'd bought - especially when I told him how much I'd paid The watch is powered by the usual A7750 and came on what appears to be a brand new black croco-print strap - actually this watch doesn't look like it's ever been worn. HD certainly looks after his watches, that's for sure! The funky blue AR which usually comes on this particular rep has been stripped by Speedy and the watch looks better for it. IMHO. Everything else about the watch is exactly as it should be - the chrono hand zeros correctly and the chronos run well (although I'm not planning to ever use the chrono function). The only thing I've done to it is fit a deployant clasp - although I will probably upgrade the strap before long. All in all I'm absolutely delighted. This joins my Fiddy as one of my all-time favourite watches and I can see it getting a lot of wear. Thanks HD! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
