Bezel and Dial Paint Type?

I apologize if this has been covered in another post - I searched for quite a while but haven't found anything. What kind of paint is best for touching up bezel indicators and potentially making paint repairs to dials? I am assuming not water-based (acrylic) as it has to stand up to the environment?

ok - I feel a little dumb-assed. I found a pretty good post that pretty much answers my question. I'll search a little harder next time before posting.
