gez45 0 Posted August 22, 2012 Hi, I spoke to Jeffw last week and had a lot of replies regarding my questions about the 305, since then I have learnt that the 305 is neither H or N factory. Now I also like the 243 and It seems to have a great write up being 1:1 etc, whereas I've not come across anything as positive about the 305, so for those of you in the know which of them would have the better more reliable movement, thanks. DFH 0 Posted August 22, 2012 I would go for the 243 - nearly perfect, and one of the very best "super reps" out there. The current 305 offering still needs a lot of detail work, lacks superlume, and even when they get the rest right, you will still have the obvious movement "tell'... Until they get the p9000 movement repped - this will continue to be the problem for the 3 days series PAMS... Since the 243 has a closed caseback, and everything else is damn near 100% - this would be the obvious choice for me... Good Luck - and let us know what you decide on! Thanks for the input gentlemen, and you're right jeff I've just been reading some more and the 305 is bigger, in all honesty while I really like the simplicity of the 305's dial I think the 243 has beaten it to the post this time.
