Watches spotted this week

I thought I'd start this because I sometimes see nice watches on random strangers and always forget to mention them on here!

In the past at a get together of people with cash to spend on the nice things in life (I was an intruder LOL), I've seen a TT Sub, a Sea Dweller, and an IWC 3717 (I think, not sure on model numbers).

This weekend I saw some mid-thirties dude (looked like he had cash to splash) wearing a gold-faced TT Daytona! Checked it out as serruptitiously as I could with him standing behind me in the supermarket queue - seconds at 6? yep, it's a gen... :D

The cardiologist that re-booted my wifes heart a week or so ago had a gen rolex sub. Am I a bad husband for checking out the Doc's watch while my wife is in serious condition?..........I need help......

The chairman of our board of Trustees was in my office a few minutes ago wearing a rather nice vintage Longines. The rep from the print company we use wears a Breit Bentley (he's a flashy git & a typically pushy salesman). I haven't seen him in about a month, but I've got a meeting with him tomorrow so I guess it counts. Oh, and the cameraman who came to film Jodie Kidd at our place a couple months back was wearing the worst quartz rep Daytona I've ever seen. :D

It's an inevitable part of the disease I reckon:

A supplier I meet every now and then: Rolex Datejust.

Another supplier I met last week: TAG Aquaracer.

A guy who used to live across the road who I see now and then: what I think is a Sea Dweller, but I haven't managed to decide for sure yet!

A bloke I work with has a 1990's IWC Pilot chrono...nice watch.

Another has a blinged up Tag aquaracer.

Many from work head to Thailand on business trips or rhumpy pumpy tours.

So...MANY quartz Gaytonas & subs and other horrible messes.

No Pams though, or anything that would sell in a street market for more than $20

Oh yeah...had a supplier once who was wearing a gen radiomir...unfortunately he was a wanker.

I seen a tag as well. Older model I think. Are they suppose to tick like a quartz watch?

While waiting in line at a gate waiting for my flight there was this guy with a gen (looked gen compared to my rep) FYG Daydate with diamond markers.

I see lots of Subs, occasionally daytonas, and your basic PAMs.

An OB/GYN at church has a TT Sub. Shines like crazy! He has a sleeping disorder, though, from all the middle-of-the-night deliveries. I've never seen him sit for more than 15 minutes w/o falling asleep.

Then there was a guy who usually sits 2 pews in front of us. He usually wears a TT black dial Sub. Def. a fake: it does not shine like the OB's. Last Sunday he was wearing a DJ. I checked out the dial to see if it was a quartz, but it wasn't running at all. He fiddled with it, then later I looked again and it still wasn't running, and the crown wasn't screwed in.

Another guy, a fat guy, wears a FG Cartier w/diamonds. It must be 33mm, though, and looks ridiculous on his thick wrist.

The last church guy was wearing an Omega SMP Chrono, def. gen. He also wears an Explorer, but I haven't been able to see the dial yet.

Opened a new account for a young guy who owns an electronics company that does business in 5 states so I'm pretty sure it was a gen Daytona. He had the large second and subdials running  Not that there's anything wrong with that. :D

Where is that tiny dwarf wearing a fiddy? I am sure he sits really close by.

I haven't left the house much in three months, but I spotted myself wearing a gen PAM111, a rep vintage 3646, and a vintage Breitling 1158 chronograph.
