wtfnoob 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Hi, I'm relatively new to the replica watch scene, and recently came across this Breitling from Silix. I'm just wondering how the construction and movement on these are (it would help if somebody bought a similar model from this seller before and would like to shed some light on the matter). Will the chronograph be somewhat reliable? http://www.silix-prime.co/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=115_125_202&products_id=4409 Many thanks.
finknottle 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Hi, It uses the A7750 movement, which has a working chronograph. However, read up about the quirks of this particular movement before buying it. See http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=1600 I own 2 Breitling replicas, both with working chronographs and the A7750 movement, and so far, I am very happy with both. But for the SuperOcean series, I prefer the non-chronograph versions. Such beautiful watches. You can't go wrong.
wtfnoob 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Thanks for your feedback. What I'm mainly concerned about is if the 7750 movement will compromise the actual second/minute hands of the watch and their ability to keep accurate time. The chronograph is more for aesthetics on this piece in my mind, and I probably won't be using it too often.
