Vintage staking kit

[KBH 7]

I just came across this old kit from a friend who's father just died. Never even knew he used to be a watchmaker. It's about 150 pieces which is pretty much a full set from what I hear.

 

Anybody got any use or should I just put it on eBay?

 

Unfortunately I can't just give it away. He wants me to see what it's worth.

They usually go for a bit under £50 ($80 ish)...:(

I like this one better. Same brand but a little newer went for $379.

I saw another set that's closer in age and condition with a buy it now of $250.

Must be better quality than the one's I've looked at KB, I thought the older stuff was all supposed to be decent, obviously I was mistaken... :(

What little I've read, the old stuff was supposed to be much more well made. This set's from around 1945 - 1955 I think.
