Proper shots of my Roger Dubuis Chronoexcel...

Recommended Posts

HeavyKrush

As promised a proper photo shoot of my newly acquired RD Chronoexcel. Thanks again to hramirez1966 for the sale and a great transaction. This watch was bigger and bolder than I imagined it would be. For a large watch it is not heavy, about the same weight as my Tag Carrera Caliber 16 Day Date. The clasp is excellent and offers a lot of small incremental changes. Fits perfect! Ok, enough of the blah blah, on with the pics!!

Cool little hatch thing over the crown.

Very striking and unique, lovely to look at, but I will tell ya, tough to tell the time if they're not in ideal light conditions.....but I guess that's not the main reason for having one :P

+1 on that M. You have to be in the best of lighting situations for sure.

It's like owning a Swatch from the 80's!

Great eye candy. Is that a real tourbillon? Don't mean to be a prick for asking, love it either way ... but seriously thinking about getting one myself now.

No, believe its 21J movement. The lower subdial does rotate but the balance wheel does not.

Anyone know if you can set the GMT dial on this watch? The dial works but there doesn't seem to be a second crown position for setting.

Don't know if this'll work on this movement but on others with a central hand, if you keep winding backwards past 12, the GMT hands becomes stationary.
