Kaiser 4 Posted September 11, 2012 Hi guys, I have absolutely no experience with Rolex reps, I was hoping you could help me out a little. A colleague of mine asked me for advice on what he should do about de missing pearl on his Sub. He bought this watch last year on holiday in Turkey, paid something like €400 for it I believe, supposedly it has a genuine Swiss ETA movement. I think this is hogwash, judging by the seconds hand sweep it looks to me to be a 21j. Apart from that overall quality (bracelet, clasp) seems to be okay. As you can see on the pic, the pearl has fallen out. Would it be worthwile replacing the pearl on this rep and if so, where can a pearl be obtained? Is it something which a relative noob is capable of replacing himself or would it have to be sent off to a modder?
